To function properly and protect you, your respirator must be clean and in good condition. Too often,
respirators are left out to get dirty or damaged at the end of the workday. Storing your respirator properly will
protect your respirator from chemicals, strong sunlight, moisture, and extreme heat or cold.
How to store your respirator - Place your respirator in a resealable plastic bag. It will also keep the respirator clean and dust free.
- Keep the resealable bag clean and check that the bag is intact and the bag seal is working. - Replace the bag when necessary. - Position your respirator so that the facepiece and head straps are not bent or stretched.
- Store your respirator in a safe place such as a cabinet or locker. Do not store it with your tools-they can damage the respirator.
- If you store your respirator in a vehicle or other location where temperatures may be extreme (for
example, too hot or too cold), open the resealable bag slightly to avoid moisture build-up.- ckdaaa309ea7758f68b70f1c10f1dce43f.jpg
