What is Safety?
Safety is a state of being. It is the State of being FREE from harm, danger, or risk of injury. It is the state of being "whole". This applies to people, the environment, and the business.
What is Hazard?
A hazard is a condition or act that has the potential to cause harm, or loss, including human injury, damage to property or environment or a combination. Examples of hazards are people, machines, chemicals, noise, or slippery floors.
What is Risk?
Risk is a measurement of the level or degree of danger or damage that may be brought about by an incident due to exposure to or contact with a hazard, considering its potential to cause harm.
