Make sure that the elevator is secure. know what you need to do in case the doors close and leave you stuck.

Get help. it's best to get it if you are locked down in an elevator and can't get out if you are to get help press the buttons like the one with the fire alarm and someone will be able to hear you.

Scream for someone to come rescue you. If it still does not work, wait patiently for help to arrive. you should be calm and be ready to wait calmly for them to come rescue you.

Remember to hold still. If you are in a dangerous emergency and can't get out of it, rest with your head down and take a deep calm breath and tell yourself everything is gonna be alright.

Remember to sing a song in your head if necessary. This means that you can count to the numbers made in your head quietly while waiting for someone to come this means don't talk as loud as you want and as always remember to use an inside voice when counting.
