Backroom Safety (supermarket)

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to stay safe while working in a supermarket’s back room. It also covers some general safety precautions you should keep in mind while working in the front of the store. When this course is over, you should be able to identify hazards common to the store and their safe work practices, identify hazards common to the store’s back room, and identify lifting and materials handling hazards common to the store’s back room. This course outlines the procedures needed for backroom safety as stated in 29 CFR 1910.176.
